Inciting Incident: The Council of Elders Decide Against
a cause or coincidence (II)."You will cease and diminish elsewhere," Kayrn explained to Caliban that afternoon. (PC)."For the elder seraphim have cast their sway to Eden and now I wonder if a new shadow shall grow from out of this world. (CQ).Some of us however, believe the Atal to still be greater, others fear the Master's wrath whence our meddling is discovered, but I've come to you to understand what all has transpired these last few days, and what is to come. (CC).I admit I am swayed less by my senses and more by my dreams of curiosity. (RES).Despite we few who have returned to you, the Seraphim have deemed you to be a casteless relic of a bygone age and the hosts below us as their new favored species. Progressive Complication: Lori & David Provide the Proof a theme which begs for a resolution (II).David arrived with some pamphlet of leaves that he gave over to Lori. "Remember," he said, "we must get her word -" (PC).Lori stopped him, "No, something's changed." (CQ).David pulled back the sheaves, "I will not support her without assuring that - (CC)."You don't understand," Lori interrupted again, "Look, I'll tell her, but,I think they've already made up their minds; and its not good, its not good." Inciting Incident Kayrn goes to Eden
A cause or coincidence (II).Kayrn returned to the planet alone, with neither the aid of a vessel nor accompanied by others. (PC).He imagined the world, its bare cracked surface, its life-full underground, and the tree which stood leafless, tall, and alone. (CQ).Caliban's voice interrupted into his thoughts saying, "Go now, the suns are setting." (CC).Suddenly he was there standing before the tree. (RES).The heat still wafted up from the ground but was now tolerable to his corporeal serpent skin. Progressive Complication: The tree a theme which begs for a resolution ~ (II).Kayrn allowed for his psychic awareness to touch the tree. (PC).It came to life in thought from out of its deep slumber and slowly unfurled new leaves across its branches. (CQ)."Eden, remember me, it has been three cycles of time since last we spoke," Kayrn whispered into the chambered hallows of the tree. (CC).Then the tree spoke voluminously back: WHY HAVE YOU RETURNED FOR YOU WERE FORBIDDEN TO DO SO? (RES)."Our need was great and we were brought here from desperation, we seek Gaia," Kayrn said without fear. Crisis Question: Where is Gaia a choice between the best bad alternative or an irreconcilable good one. ~ ? (II).GAIA IS DEAD, proclaimed the tree. (PC)."Not the tree but the world," he clarified before Eden returned back to his slumber. (CQ).GAIA'S HUSK WANDERS NOW FAR STRAY. (CC).One of its leaves hardened into heavy silver and fell from the branches outside of the tunnel behind Kayrn. (RES).Picking it up he saw the constellation patterns which Lori had described, but also, its pointed edges revealed its links to the grand ultimate cosmos. Climactic Culmination: The star map The results ~ Actionary (II).The tree said before returning to sleep, GO NOW, THE MASTER WILL DEAL WITH PRICE LATER. (PC).The evening cool was already bringing about the first of the foragers, and the fresh scent of leaf matter still clinging to the tree drew many kinds of creatures at once. (CQ).The enormous ants devoured their enemies and swarmed the tree quickly. (CC).Kayrn focused his thoughts to propel him into a levitative flight through the interior caverns. (RES).He flew out faster than the ants could ascend and passed into the nights sky above unnoticed by the growing surface war of the ants. Resolution: Kayrn rejoins the fleet in space above the impact of changes, problems, and choices made that either incites another incident or, ~Cliffhangs. ~ Actionary (II).Kayrn entered through a hatch port and commandeered transport back to the palace. (PC).There he was first met by Heira before he could speak to any other. (CQ)."If you give that to her, she will rule all dominions, this is our last chance to choose alternative factions." (CC).Kayrn proceeded on without a word; when he provided it, Caliban ordered, "Navigator, set our coarse accordingly and General, launch the planet killer." (RES).As the fleet departed into the realm of sub-space transport, the Titaness, Astrea, launched a single slow rocket at the star to send it nova before they too disappeared from space-time. Inciting Incident Astrea returns to Gaia.
A cause or coincidence ~ Actionary (II).Subspace flight existed through a lingering moment in time, nothing was still within the city of Astrea but rather, the city passed time stilled in suspended animation by The Titaness' energy field. (PC).Emerging into solar-space where a bright yellow star could be seen far off Lori and David gathered upon a promenade to view the spacial sights when they passed the first planet. (CQ).It was a show of the briefest of moments as the Titaness moved now in real time, and fast it seemed as it shuttered along its direct path past the sun to its opposite side. (CC). Suddenly a blue disc could be seen among the starry black and aside it was a bright silvery moon waiting, as they passed soon the International Space Station habitat came into view with faces in the windows, so too was a massive array of satellites in orbit. (RES).Astrea then spun into a slow-fall into the Atlantic Ocean. Progressive Complication The Adom's & the Atal. a theme which begs for a resolution ~ Revealtory (Res/II).Fighter jets and missile explosions alike collided against Astrea's energy field, incinerating into fire which melted along the side of an invisible wall. (PC).A nuclear blast sent a wave of shimmering energy across the field that shielded the titaness, even the blinding light was filtered. (CQ)."She said she wouldn't conquer us," David reminded Lori as she gripped his hand. (CC).Lori responded, "I'm just not sure that means the same thing to us as it does to them." (RES)."Adoms," Siscart called to them, "Her Tyrancy has summoned you." Crisis Question David & Lori. a choice between the best bad alternative or an irreconcilable good one. ~ ? (II).They walked together under the marble walled corridors of the Palace Riser and boarded the levitation pad awaiting them. (PC).After a moment of hesitation Lori got on saying, "In a way, she already has conquered humanity just by showing up." (CQ).David confided, "Look, I wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss, but if ever you need anything..."(CC).The lift arrived and the upper echelon palace doors were waiting open.(RES).~Cliffhanger. Climactic Culmination: Gaia's Occupation. The results ~ Revelatory (Res/II).Inside were Cutthroat generals now standing amid every house of the empire before the Tyranical Throne, in front of which were gathered a large crowd of people, human people. (PC).Behind and from above the Seraphim looked on as the gathered parted before David and Lori.(CQ).At last Caliban spoke gesturing to each party in turn, "I have tolerated your peoples and have heard their demands, my servants stand with arms down, my houses stand with doors open, my council is wholly preoccupied with the business of my empire that you see that Gaia is of no conquest to me.(CC).Therefore I have landed but one city upon your world and from the city of Astrea I shall rule my cosmos. (RES).Humanities access to my empire will be dependent entirely upon humanities ability to behave civilized...or not." Resolution The Caliban Coin. the impact of changes, problems, and choices made that either incites another incident or, ~Cliffhangs. ~Revelatory (II)."And what if we say go away and never return?" asked a gentlemen wearing a green suit. (PC).But Caliban replied, "We cannot, for if the enemy were to gain even a single bot upon your world, or even your moon, they would use the material to renew the war. (CQ).But I believe that humans and Atal can integrate almost seamlessly in many regards, allow me to share with you a gift to that end." (CC).Providing then with each person a large heavy satchel, each was filled with golden coins.(RES). They were each imprinted in different languages of Earth but read upon one side, The Empire Eternal, and on the other, Live - Serve - Die. And so ended the 6th day. Upon the 7th, the coronation celebrations were held. It was after that night when the time-clocks read the turning of a new age, displaying, Imperial Time: 5.1.1.1.1.1. |
